Western Australia Maritime Museum - Fremantle, Western Australia
The Maritime museum located in Fremantle has more than two and a half million specimens/artefacts. The aim of the museum is to give an accurate depiction of the state's history. There are numerous collections ranging from shipwreck galleries, to a botanic garden. A visit to the museum is highly educational and breathtaking. Last year, over three quarters of a million people visited the museum of which nearly 50,000 were school students. The architecture of the building makes for a great view as boats pass by.
