Nicknamed "The Maj," His Majesty's theatre is the heritage of the performing arts industry in Western Australia. It is a perfect example of an Edwardian era architecture. Although now with more theatres in Perth and competion, "The Maj" still is home to regular world renowned plays and musicals, attracting sell out shows consistently. They offer theatre walk through tours that explain the venue's history, and there is a small bar and cafe next door on Hay St. To see the inside of this marvellous theatre is worth the price of admission in itself.
