Swan Bell Tower - Perth, Western Australia
The Swan Bells are a set of 18 bells hanging in a glass and copper tower at the end of Barrack St in the Perth CBD. It is named after the Swan River which it overlooks. It has been open since 2000 and is a major tourist attraction of the city. Over 1 million tourists have visted the tower since its opening. There was much controversy about its construction with people saying it was a waste of expenditure hoewver it has proved to be a revenue making tourist attraction.
